There is currently no "special" icon in the taskbar to let us know we have a new message or an unread message. It would also be good to have an icon with the number or unread messages.
It would be nice to react to other people's messages in a group or in individual chat. We can favorite a message to "save" it, but we could add other reactions.
I think it would be more logical to have:
- only the personal chats under the 'Chats' list; or change the tab name to 'Personal' in the process.
- and only the group chats under the 'Groups' list..
consequently, the app might need 2 buttons...
When I receive a notification to tell me I have a new message, it looks and sounds like a "system notification" from my laptop - is everyone experiencing this?
